Job Summary

Supervise daily credit-risk operations by monitoring team performance, processing credit applications, and conducting credit analysis for new schemes and products. Provide recommendations to the Risk Manager, assess non-performing cases and rescheduling requests, and support legal action decisions. Help plan and implement the company’s risk management strategy, track risk deficiencies, and contribute to setting and amending credit policies and workflow.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and monitor team operations on a daily basis.
•Minimize risk by performing analysis and reviewing credit applications for submission to the Risk Manager.
•Process credit applications efficiently and in a timely manner, and prepare recommendations to present to the Risk Manager.
•Perform credit analysis for new schemes and products and assess non-performing cases, including loan rescheduling and legal action decisions.
•Assist with planning, designing, and implementing the company’s overall risk management strategy, and participate in setting/amending credit policies and workflow.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
•Minimum 6-7 years of relevant banking and/or microfinance experience.
•2-3 years management experience in the same position.
•Good understanding of risk management concepts and applications, including analyzing and evaluating statistical data.
•Ability to liaise with colleagues and communicate effectively, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
