Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market. Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up applied chiller systems and related HVAC equipment in commercial environments. Use technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues, recommend efficiency improvements, communicate with customers and internal stakeholders, and ensure all work meets safety and environmental standards.

•Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair applied chiller systems and associated HVAC equipment.
•Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
•Evaluate system operation and recommend repairs, upgrades, or efficiency improvements.
•Communicate clearly and consistently to customers and internal team stakeholders.
•Perform all work in compliance with safety policies, environmental regulations, and company standards, including supporting emergency service calls.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or completion of an accredited technical school program (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computer devices (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
•EPA certification preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
•Experience servicing applied chillers or large-tonnage HVAC systems; experience with centrifugal, screw, scroll, or absorption chillers preferred.
