Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze data from sites, surveys, blueprints, and specifications to support drafting and design activities.
•Use 3D CAD software to prepare precise drawings and design details.
•Provide technical design assistance ensuring proper illustration, fit, form, and function with GD&T and material quantity calculations.
•Verify calculations, design changes, and interpretation of contract plans; escalate issues as needed.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work and ensure compliance with city/state/federal regulations.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma and 3+ years of post-education drafting/design experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation to produce shop drawings.
•Capable of producing Steel and Foundation Plans, Sections, and Elevation Views, plus Structural Bill of Materials.
•Familiar with relevant codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
•Strong writing and communication skills, ability to work independently or in a team, and commitment to safety.
•Willingness to learn CAD standards and participate in project tasks with occasional travel.
