Job Summary

Conduct molecular genetic pre- and postnatal analyses for human genetics, including sample handling, NGS, Sanger sequencing, MLPA, and ctDNA testing under ISO-accredited quality guidelines. Work according to SOPs, document quality-relevant processes, operate analysis devices and automation, and perform quality control and technical validation of results. Support the team administratively and collaborate on quality management at Hirslanden Precise in Zollikon.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform molecular genetic pre- and postnatal analyses (sample collection, NGS, Sanger sequencing, MLPA, ctDNA analyses) under ISO-accredited quality guidelines.
•Carry out work according to SOPs and document quality-relevant processes.
•Operate and manage analysis devices and automation.
•Conduct and assess process-relevant quality control steps and support quality management activities.
•Evaluate and technically validate analysis results, and provide administrative support to the team.

Key Requirements

•Completed training as Dipl. biomed. Analytiker/in HF or Dipl. Biologielaborant/in EFZ (or equivalent).
•Several years of experience in medical genetics (advantageous).
•Strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness, with very good communication skills.
•Good knowledge of universal IT tools such as Excel and Word, plus genetics software including Coffalyser.net, SeqPilot, and lab information systems.
•Team spirit, high concentration at work, and very good German skills.
