Job Summary

Design, develop, sustain, test, validate, and debug factory automation and manufacturing systems software that supports wafer processing and packaging capabilities. Work across multiple layers of the stack—from firmware and drivers to operating systems, storage, networking, middleware, and applications—while ensuring reliable factory operations. Serve as a subject matter expert, troubleshoot automation issues to minimize downtime, drive continuous improvement, and provide 24x7 production support on rotating 12-hour shifts.

Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, sustain, test, validate, and debug software for factory, wafer process, packaging features, capabilities, and reference platforms.
•Integrate, support, and sustain Factory Automation software systems to enable reliable, efficient manufacturing operations.
•Apply advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve automation system issues, minimizing downtime and improving system performance.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation system health, reliability, and emerging manufacturing capability requirements.
•Provide 24x7 production support via rotating day/night 12-hour shifts and collaborate with cross-functional teams as an automation subject matter expert.

Key Requirements

•Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for automation and manufacturing software.
•Good interpersonal and communication skills, including clear troubleshooting communication and written updates to factory users.
•Ability to work effectively as a team player and support other team members.
•Be resourceful, creative, and innovative in generating ideas to resolve issues, with proficiency in current IT technologies.
