Job Summary

Perform clinical laboratory testing on blood, sputum, urine, tissues, and other samples to support diagnosis and patient care. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and maintain competence in the Laboratory Information System. Conduct biological, hematological, chemical, and physical analyses including blood counts and urinalyses, while preparing reagents, slides, and specimens. Ensure work meets ISO 15189:2022, JCI, and regulatory standards; participate in QC/QI and training, and complete accurate records.

Job Function: Laboratory & Clinical Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Perform clinical tests across biological, hematological, chemical, and physical analysis categories on samples including blood, sputum, urine, water, and tissues.
•Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, including maintaining competence in the Laboratory Information System.
•Prepare chemical reagents and biological media, prepare slides, make microscopic observations, and prepare tissue for microscopic examination by pathologists.
•Ensure assigned work meets ISO 15189:2022, EIAC Standards, JCI, and applicable regulatory body requirements; support QC/QI and recognize out-of-control values with corrective action.
•Work all scheduled shifts, follow infection control and patient safety policies, and complete accurate records, reports, and specimen identification procedures.

Key Requirements

•Valid DOH/DHA License or DOH Pass result as a Medical lab Technologist to practice in UAE.
•Bachelor's/Master's degree in Medical Lab Technology from an accredited university (minimum course duration not less than 3 years).
•Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist after registration.
•Must hold valid license in country as Medical Laboratory Technologist.
•Fluent in spoken and written English; Arabic is desirable.
