Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement for Construction/Building Products/Consumables across EquipmentShare.
  • •Negotiate pricing and value, and manage creation of new and renewed vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements.
  • •Evaluate product quality/effectiveness, assess vendors, and analyze market trends to predict product availability.
  • •Develop procurement standards, processes, and best practices; communicate clearly and collaborate to establish transparent procurement processes.
  • •Mine data for category usage and spend analysis; review category services/products to identify price reductions and efficient purchasing improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 8 years of Construction & Building Products category management experience.
  • •Strong working knowledge of the complete procurement cycle with a hands-on work style.
  • •Ability to negotiate pricing and value, with contract negotiation and ongoing vendor management skills.
  • •In-depth knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain and Inventory fundamentals.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M.) are preferred.
