Key Responsibilities

  • •Co-own, design, and scale a high-performance, data-intensive platform storage layer for network monitoring data
  • •Define and lead the execution of a multi-year technical roadmap for KDE Storage services and achieve high-speed queries
  • •Collaborate with engineering, support, and sales teams to drive platform-wide storage standards
  • •Solve high-visibility, challenging engineering problems related to data-intensive platform storage
  • •Work with customer service, product, and other engineering teams to develop new network data observability and intelligence features

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of backend development experience in Go/C/Rust with distributed systems, concurrency, and high-throughput data pipelines
  • •Experience with Timeseries Databases, especially the storage layer
  • •Experience with object storage or distributed filesystems
  • •Experience designing tiered storage strategies (Hot/Warm/Cold) and TTL-based data eviction at scale
  • •Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a remote-friendly culture
