Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate client onboarding for Financial Advisor prospect pipelines, including proposal support, new account paperwork, opening accounts, asset transitions to Baird, and ongoing communication/client service planning.
  • •Answer incoming phone calls appropriately, manage client needs when possible, and advise Financial Advisors on actions taken.
  • •Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM) for advisors and leverage CRM to manage client relationships via mailings, reporting, and e-mail tracking to implement client service models.
  • •Assemble/generate materials for client meetings and organize seminars/events, including client lists, seminar content, PowerPoint presentation coordination, and follow-up with client contact.
  • •Support client account transactions and special projects as needed, including entering security orders per advisor/client instructions, and proactively review investment opportunities daily to notify advisors.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • •Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam plus Series 7 and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses, or willingness to obtain within 18 months.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Baird’s Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Detail oriented with strong organizational skills; understands compliance regulations and maintains client confidentiality.
