Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance of production equipment in assigned areas (press, finishing, extrusion).
  • •Handle mechanical maintenance tasks including piping, sheet metal, and minor electrical repairs (e.g., replacing fuses, sealing heaters/pilot lights, plug-in modules).
  • •Use tools and test equipment and maintain compressed air lines and required instrumentation.
  • •Assist other mechanics as directed, complete cleanup, and support annual machine overhauls.
  • •Maintain safe work practices, follow GMP and Food Safety requirements, provide training on equipment, and complete required work documentation (log books/work orders).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24.1 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment in assigned areas, including mechanical, piping, sheet metal, and minor electrical work.
  • •Use common hand tools, power tools, and test equipment (e.g., continuity tester, volt-ammeter) and work on compressed air lines and instrumentation.
  • •Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings; record complete work in equipment log books and follow written instructions.
  • •Perform gas, MIG, and TIG welding and fabricate metal machine guards from blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
  • •Complete required home study courses on time and be willing to work overtime as needed; follow safe work practices, GMP, and Food Safety requirements.
