Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform expert body repairs, including masking, sanding, and grinding.
  • •Apply primer and refinish paint surfaces to meet CarMax standards.
  • •Remove and replace parts as needed for cosmetic and structural integrity.
  • •Repair plastic and substrate damage and complete post-paint refinishing defect correction.
  • •Follow EH&S requirements, maintain a clean work area, and support customer service to internal and external partners as needed.

  • •Meet Cosmetic Reconditioning Associate II and Flow Inventory Associate II performance standards and achieve workstation certifications for those roles and Senior Reconditioning Associate.
  • •Read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Use CarMax-provided respiratory protection and be clean-shaven to use a half-face respirator.
