Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply hydraulic principles for river, storm, and wastewater infrastructure planning, including stormwater networks, culverts, bridges, open channel, and 2D surface flows.
  • •Interpret hydraulic models and outputs; develop hydrologic models and urban hydrology for hydraulic modelling.
  • •Use Innovyze ICM and/or TuFlow to build, update, or test scenarios, including schematisation, validation/calibration, performance assessment, and floodplain and hazard mapping.
  • •Ensure model accuracy across model build, demand analysis & allocation, calibration, and masterplanning, while implementing QA protocols.
  • •Manage technical risks, prepare client-ready reports and presentations, and review work by junior colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters/Bachelors degree in Water Resource Engineering or Environmental Engineering or similar.
  • •Member of a professional body such as CIWEM or ICE; Chartered or equivalent status preferred.
  • •8+ years of experience in hydraulic modelling for large-scale river, storm, and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • •At least 4+ years of hands-on experience using TuFlow/Innovyze ICM.
  • •Fluency in spoken and written English to communicate complex technical matters clearly.
