Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for MEP systems (mechanical/HVAC, electrical, and plumbing) based on project specifications and drawings.
  • •Develop and update interim valuations, prepare interim payment applications, and issue subcontractor payment certifications while maintaining logs.
  • •Review instructions, drawing and submittal comments to identify deviations from specifications and scope; prepare notices of variation/claims with supporting documents.
  • •Prepare cost proposals for variations (measurement sheets, rate build-ups, supporting documents), identify cost/time-impact events, and prepare draft delay notices with the planning engineer.
  • •Produce monthly cashflow forecasts and cost value reconciliation reports; prepare final account statements and maintain risk and opportunity assessments/registers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or diploma in quantity surveying (or related field) with 4–5 years in the oil & gas/construction industry.
  • •Minimum 3 years as a Quantity Surveyor on sizeable projects in a similar business or industry.
  • •02+ years of experience in UAE or the Middle East.
  • •Strong understanding of quantification, cost estimation, commercial management, and project cost control/reporting.
  • •Knowledge of standard methods of measurements (e.g., CESMM, POMI) and standard forms of contract, with HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
