Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and train feed mill maintenance employees, including providing safety training and ensuring it is completed.
  • •Supervise and lead maintenance processes and operations, including maintenance department responsibilities aligned with quality assurance, SOPs, and current GMPs.
  • •Review daily downtime records and plan repairs/corrections to prevent downtime in feed manufacturing equipment and computer automation controls equipment.
  • •Track maintenance expenses, oversee the maintenance department budget, and oversee equipment stock and ordering of supplies.
  • •Conduct inspections, plan and supervise repair and installation procedures, ensure PMs are completed as scheduled, and complete required paperwork/reports.

Key Requirements

  • •High school degree or equivalent, with at least five (5) years of experience in feed manufacturing maintenance.
  • •Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation.
  • •Good understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • •Knowledge of boiler operations and steam piping.
  • •Excellent organizational/leadership abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
