Job Summary

Maintain, troubleshoot, and service military and commercial generator and HVAC systems supporting the U.S. Army Worldwide Field Support contract. Perform diagnostics and repairs on 3kW to 150kW generators and associated AC/DC and control systems, service HVAC/chillers/environmental control units, operate testing load banks, and handle installation/removal in fixed and mobile environments. Provide on-site technical assistance and training to site operations and maintenance personnel across Southwest Asia.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and services on military and commercial generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army.
•Maintain and sustain 3kW to 150kW (including 50/60/400Hz) generators, including installation and removal from fixed and mobile locations.
•Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, chillers, and environmental control units, including standalone and trailer/vehicle-mounted systems.
•Maintain commercial power generation equipment, military-spec generators, and Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS).
•Operate a load bank during testing and fabricate wire harnesses/solder terminals while providing training to site operations and maintenance personnel.

•Secret clearance required and must currently possess Secret.
•High school diploma.
•3+ years of related experience (or BA/BS plus 2 years; AA/AS plus 4 years).
•Extensive diesel generator experience, including generator parallel systems and switch gear, plus HVAC repair/troubleshooting experience.
•U.S. citizenship required; role requirements include a U.S. passport valid at least 2 years, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and an international driver’s permit (AAA).
