Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and review hook-up job cards, including prerequisites, sequential installations, and completion activities.
  • •Develop the WBS and discipline-specific hook-up schedules, sequencing and synchronizing activities with other disciplines.
  • •Review construction work packs and MTOs (including offshore contingencies), and verify material requisitions against project specifications.
  • •Coordinate material delivery and receiving status with warehouse/quality, and liaise with fabrication and hook-up material teams for handover and material bag/tag verification.
  • •Support commissioning by monitoring daily progress, conducting surveys, performing risk assessments, ensuring QHSES/PTW compliance, and providing guidance to junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) or equivalent offshore engineering experience.
  • •10+ years’ experience in related offshore engineering fields.
  • •Strong knowledge of hook-up best practices, standards, and regulations (e.g., API, ISO).
  • •Proficiency using project management tools/software to plan, schedule, and track hook-up and commissioning activities.
  • •Excellent communication and leadership skills to liaise with interdisciplinary teams and resolve technical challenges while prioritizing under pressure.
