Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and direct the implementation of an integrated land-access strategy across portfolios and projects, aligned with corporate, sustainability, and legal objectives.
  • •Plan, supervise, and execute land-access processes to ensure timely and appropriate land availability for company projects.
  • •Lead negotiations and formalize agreements/contracts with campesino communities, individual owners, and other stakeholders with transparent and traceable processes.
  • •Identify, evaluate, and mitigate legal, social, and reputational risks using preventive plans, risk analysis, and strategic actions.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable national regulations and company policies, including anti-corruption controls, social due diligence, document management, and occupational health & safety; report to committees and senior leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (titled and registered/licensed) in Law, Forest Engineering, Anthropology, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • •12+ years of experience in similar land access/legal/compliance roles.
  • •Advanced English proficiency (oral and written) is desirable.
  • •Knowledge of laws and regulations related to property and land access, plus international standards on land acquisition and use.
  • •Experience managing stakeholders and strong negotiation skills to secure transparent, traceable agreements.
