Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor changes in Slovak occupational health and safety legislation and relevant technical standards.
  • •Embed legal requirements into company procedures and support inspections by labour authorities and other regulatory bodies.
  • •Identify hazards and prepare, maintain, and review occupational risk assessments; recommend preventive and protective measures.
  • •Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and audits to assess compliance with legal requirements, internal procedures, and DP World HSE standards.
  • •Organise and deliver mandatory H&S training; support accident/near-miss investigations and emergency planning, drills, and business-continuity activities from an HSE perspective.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 13,100 - 20,672 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Certification as a Safety Technician (Bezpečnostný technik) in accordance with Act No. 124/2006 Coll.
  • •Knowledge of Slovak occupational health and safety legislation.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English at minimum B2 level.
  • •Possession of a valid Category B driving license.
  • •Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline (or education meeting Slovak legal requirements for the role).
