Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise workers performing major painting projects and structural repairs to building components and furnishings.
  • •Supervise installation, servicing, and repair of mechanical equipment and employees maintaining plant equipment, buildings, and facilities.
  • •Use electrical and mechanical expertise to maintain plant equipment at optimal levels, including inspection for conformance to blueprints and standards.
  • •Prepare work schedules and make work assignments to subordinates; interpret and enforce company policy and practices.
  • •Establish and administer preventive maintenance programs and training programs to ensure proper operation and minimize equipment downtime.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of poultry maintenance/food manufacturing experience.
  • •Experience with processing equipment.
  • •Working knowledge of refrigeration.
  • •Working knowledge of PLCs.
  • •Working knowledge of electrical systems (control and industrial wiring) and proficiency in areas such as pipe fitting/plumbing, welding, shop machinery, sheet metal, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls & instrumentation, and automatic equipment operation.
