Key Responsibilities

  • •Support engineering test activities including machine setup, material changes, and WIP movement.
  • •Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing process and equipment issues; perform on-site maintenance and repair as directed.
  • •Review process and equipment data on dashboards, determine corrective actions, and respond to SPC process control alarms.
  • •Identify and implement throughput, yield, and product performance improvements; execute experiments and provide training/upskilling and documentation updates.

Salary: USD 26.97 - 38.46 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) is required; qualify with specified combinations of technical experience or an associate/bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • •4+ years mechanical, electrical, or process technician experience (or equivalent experience in specific First Solar technician roles).
  • •Extensive verifiable electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge with hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • •Trained and certified to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot multiple manufacturing equipment in semiconductor or finishing process areas.
  • •Working knowledge of common Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) plus good written and oral communication skills.
