Job Summary

Lead day-to-day Marine Hull account service within the Global Broking Centre, driving client retention, new business development, and coordination of marketing and negotiation across Lloyd’s and Company Markets. Manage client/network relationships, advise on insurance requirements, shape placement strategy, analyze data, and prepare submissions and RFP responses. Negotiate terms, obtain quotations, and place new and renewal business, using Aon and London market systems while meeting regulatory and risk requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage day-to-day client account service, including client retention objectives and new business development.
•Build and manage client/network relationships; understand business and insurance requirements and provide technical advice.
•Set insurance program and placement strategy with the client in conjunction with networks, preparing/tailoring MRCs/MRCe’s to meet coverage needs.
•Analyze data and prepare submissions/presentations and RFP responses (offensive and defensive) to markets/clients/networks.
•Perform market broking activities: assist marketing strategies, conduct face-to-face Lloyd’s broking and e-trading, negotiate terms, and place new and renewal business; manage file and system usage while complying with regulatory standards and risk frameworks.

Key Requirements

•Good technical knowledge of Marine Hull and Construction insurance.
•Excellent client service skills with the ability to prioritize work and deliver accurately and on time.
•Ability to interpret and use data effectively for submissions and presentations to markets, clients, and networks.
•Strong relationships and knowledge of London and global insurance markets.
•Ability to use insurance industry IT systems and understand processes to efficiently deliver client service.
