Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, using HVAC theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and blueprints/engineering specifications. Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to forecast needs and synchronize work. Maintain safety standards and document asset use and conditions while supporting occasional overtime, weekends, and overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements and synchronize work.
•Provide direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customers’ locations.
•Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in a commercial environment.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability by recording use, wear, and conditions of company assets; remain flexible for overtime/weekends and occasional overnight stays.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25.7 - 47.35 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience, with technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency using a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, Hit & Run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or preventable collisions).
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to meet physical and PPE requirements to safely perform HVAC service work (e.g., use safety gear, lift/move up to specified weights, and work at heights).
