Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform required group leader duties, including assisting and instructing operators and setup personnel with troubleshooting and setup issues on CNC and conventional machines.
  • •Set up and operate equipment as needed, including using fork truck to support material movement within the department.
  • •Plan and arrange work for the P&R machining and P&R bar cell team by coordinating LG5 operators and LG3 setup employees.
  • •Work from charts, manuals, and drawings to determine parts for production orders; sort and accumulate orders including pre-kitting setups.
  • •Oversee P&R personnel, ensure required materials/stock/fixturing/documents are available, maintain daily visual boards, and administer 5S and TPM training while escalating unusual conditions to supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •1 year of previous experience working with CNC and familiarity with the machines.

  • •Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future; only candidates within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY will be considered.
