Own and evolve the Clearing & Settlement product capabilities within the issuer processing platform. Define product vision, roadmap, and backlog to ensure accurate clearing, settlement, reconciliation, scheme reporting, fee processing, and financial controls across global payment networks. Lead requirements for Visa Base II, Mastercard IPM, and scheme updates, collaborate cross-functionally, and translate complex scheme and technical specifications into delivery plans, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Key Responsibilities

•Own Clearing & Settlement product vision, roadmap, and backlog, setting strategy aligned to customer needs, operational efficiency, scheme requirements, and business goals.
•Manage clearing capabilities including message ingestion/processing and workflows for presentments, reversals, adjustments, corrections, exceptions, and multi-currency/multi-clearing scenarios.
•Manage issuer settlement calculations and processing, including settlement position management, exception handling, and auditable controls.
•Define and enhance reconciliation and controls across clearing, settlement, and ledger flows, including break resolution and reporting.
•Lead scheme and network alignment by translating Visa Base II and Mastercard IPM requirements, monitoring mandates/changes, performing impact analysis, and partnering with engineering, operations, finance, compliance, and client delivery for delivery and integrations.

Key Requirements

•Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Clearing & Settlement.
•Translate market, client, and scheme requirements into product requirements and delivery priorities.
•Expert knowledge of card clearing and settlement processes and frameworks (Visa, Mastercard).
•Understand settlement reporting, reconciliation, interchange, assessments, and scheme fees.
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
