Job Summary

Lead electrical engineering activities for building design and supervision projects, ensuring strong coordination across disciplines and managing the project’s Quality Assurance system. Review technical submittals (shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements), respond to contractor RFIs, and support constructability through design coordination. Apply in-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards while reviewing handover documentation such as O&M and warranties, reporting updates to the project lead.

Key Responsibilities

•Review technical submittals such as shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for relevant discipline works, coordinating with other disciplines and regulatory requirements.
•Respond to contractor RFIs related to discipline works.
•Provide design coordination with other disciplines to ensure constructability.
•Coordinate with Structural, Architectural, ID, Electrical, and ELV disciplines.
•Review project handover documents (O&M, warranty, etc.) and report to the project lead with updates on issues as required.

Key Requirements

•MTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
•Familiar with BS and American standards and strong presentation skills using Microsoft applications, particularly Word and Excel.
•Proven electrical design experience including circuit design, schematics, and CAD software.
•Knowledge of power systems including high voltage, power distribution, and load calculations.
•Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC) plus testing and troubleshooting with electrical testing equipment and fault diagnosis.
