Job Summary

Lead technical design and delivery of complex DCS/ESD/F&G control system projects, owning solutions within schedule and budget. Develop functional design specifications, architecture, and BOMs; perform detailed control system hardware/software design (including HMI), application development, FAT, site commissioning, and cut-overs/loop checking. Collaborate with engineering and project leadership, manage scope/change control, ensure quality/safety compliance, and conduct site visits and customer handovers.

Key Responsibilities

•Take responsibility as Technical Lead for project delivery or lead individual units within large projects covering DCS, ESD, and F&G (ICSS projects).
•Own delivery of technically correct solutions to customers within agreed schedule and budget.
•Develop functional design specifications/design specs/architecture and create BOMs; perform control system hardware and software detail design including HMI and application development.
•Conduct testing, hardware integration, customer FAT at factory, site commissioning, system cut-overs, and loop checking.
•Review engineered solutions for functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation; monitor scope against project plan with change control, identify risks/opportunities, and perform site visits for customer meetings and handover.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience with DCS, Safety PLC, and PLC for design, detail engineering, testing, and commissioning.
•Experience with third-party systems interfaces including Modbus TCP/RTU and OPC (UA, DA, HDA, A&E), as well as ProfiNet and Profibus.
•Knowledge of HART, Foundation Fieldbus, and Profibus.
•Networking knowledge including TCP/IP protocols, switch/router, and domain controller configurations.
•Bachelor’s degree (BE/B Tech) in Instrumentation or Electronics.
