Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the service-reliability strategy and operating model, defining and monitoring SLI/SLOs and operational measures across the CCR SRE Pod.
  • •Provide leadership during major or complex production incidents, coordinating recovery across pods, teams, infrastructure, cloud services, vendors, and upstream/downstream technology.
  • •Build an SRE culture that automates recurring operational activity and improves monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, dashboards, capacity management, and automated recovery.
  • •Own and prioritize the SRE backlog, ensuring delivery of reliability risk remediation, automation, and technical debt work within schedule, budget, and governance controls.
  • •Lead a geographically distributed SRE team, setting objectives, managing performance, planning shift/on-call coverage, and driving succession planning and a blameless learning culture.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or equivalent professional experience in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • •Significant experience in software engineering, production engineering, SRE, DevOps, or application support for business-critical distributed systems.
  • •Proven ability to lead a medium-to-large technical team across multiple locations/time zones.
  • •Demonstrable leadership of major incidents, service recovery, stakeholder communications, root-cause analysis, and preventive remediation.
  • •Experience building observability and operational practices (SLOs, metrics, runbooks, on-call) and applying Agile/DevOps/CI-CD and continuous improvement.
