Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure strong safety focus and maintain an excellent safety record.
  • •Hire, lead, and mentor a team of supervisors, technicians, welders, inspectors, and machinists to execute COPV assembly, welding, curing, machining, proofing, coating, and non-destructive testing/inspection.
  • •Define and enforce operational excellence standards with accountability for production goals and associated administrative work.
  • •Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, procedures, quality, and production rate, including scaling for high-volume output.
  • •Support new product introductions, line expansions, and facility upgrades while collaborating with engineering, quality, leadership, and internal suppliers/supply chain to resolve complex issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline OR 4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing/production operations, supply chain management, or military operations.
  • •1+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing/production role with direct reports.
  • •5+ years of experience working with composite material assembly.
  • •Experience with production processes such as vacuum furnaces, TIG welding, plasma coating, and machining.
  • •Ability to work extended hours/weekends as needed.
