Job Summary

Support the Director of Operations, J-4, in overseeing U.S. engineering and basing efforts for base transitions in the CENTCOM AOR. Coordinate and monitor infrastructure programs and initiatives, including environmental compliance and real estate. Assist with planning for base closure/transfer and growth, advise on statutory requirements, synchronize deconstruction efforts, and develop SOPs, reports, and General Officer-level briefings.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Director of Operations, J-4, with overall development, implementation, management, and direction of U.S. engineering and basing efforts.
•Coordinate and monitor U.S. base transitions, infrastructure-related programs, initiatives, and projects, including environmental compliance and real estate.
•Assist with basing operations oversight and develop future plans for base closure/transfers/growth to support policy and execution.
•Advise on fulfillment of statutory requirements to support accountability for equipment, facilities, environmental matters, contracts, and final site turnover.
•Develop and track critical metrics and CCIRs, and help create SOPs, reports, and General Officer-level briefings; synchronize engineering deconstruction efforts.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 124,000 annually

Key Requirements

•High school with 8–12 years of experience (or commensurate experience).
•Military background in the U.S. Army, Air Force, or Marines logistics field; achieved CW3+ or O3+ commissioned officer grade.
•10+ years of contract/program management experience with knowledge of how the Department of Defense procures and executes construction and service contracts.
•Ability to respond rapidly to changing requirements, unexpected contingencies, and challenging situations.
•Ability to manage available resources in time-sensitive situations; must be able to operate a leased vehicle when traveling.
