Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full lifecycle of an individual power generation project within a larger program, from initiation through closeout, managing scope, schedule, and cost trade-offs.
  • •Direct project controls and scheduling via the commercial lead: set the controls framework and KPIs, review cost/schedule performance, approve change requests, and drive resolution of critical issues.
  • •Lead the project delivery team by defining roles and performance expectations for a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager, and develop both leads and their teams.
  • •Oversee technical execution and construction by directing design/specification/engineering, ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations, and approving technical documentation.
  • •Manage field construction, completions, commissioning, and turnover; coordinate contractors/suppliers and stakeholders, verify deliverables and site conditions, and support executive reporting/escalations to the Program Manager.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 7+ years of large ($100MM) project management and execution experience across lifecycle delivery; 10+ years preferred.
  • •Proven experience in industrial environments with a strong preference for power generation and project execution in the oil and gas or energy sector.
  • •Expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management, resource allocation, change management, and stakeholder communication.
  • •Proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional project teams, including directing a technical lead and a commercial lead.
