Key Responsibilities

  • •Support timely preparation and execution of risk and control updates by collecting data per desktop procedures, and facilitate meetings to review process understanding and process map documentation.
  • •Execute projects with urgency for deliverables; review policies and procedures to document process maps and narratives.
  • •Identify risks and controls in processes under review by drafting risks and controls to standards, assessing the control environment, and determining effective mitigation or gaps.
  • •Discuss risk factors and issues with risk subject matter experts, including third parties, regulatory and legal matters.
  • •Serve as a communication channel between Risk Management and business units while monitoring risk policy, procedure, and program requirement execution.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of related experience in Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Internal Audit, or a similar field.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, regulations, industry standards, and practices.
  • •Intermediate skills in documenting process maps in process mapping software and identifying risks and controls in processes.
