Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate forklift as directed and without supervision while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • •Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements; position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, and products.
  • •Hook tow trucks to trailer hitch as needed, transport loads to designated areas, and unload and stack materials by raising/lowering the lifting device.
  • •Inventory materials on the work floor, supply workers with materials as needed, and weigh materials/products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
  • •Perform routine maintenance including recharging batteries, lubricating, fueling, cleaning, and maintain clear, orderly housekeeping in the assigned area.
