Job Summary

Senior Construction Manager responsible for delivering high-quality projects from inception to completion within budget and schedule. Leads relationships with Architects, QS, clients and subcontractors, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, optimizes resource use, and collaborates with commercial teams to keep costs in line with the approved plan.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain good relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors and Clients, Sub-contractors and other professional members of the project team.
•Maintain a professional working relationship with all 3rd party stakeholders.
•Maintain the reputation of the company for a collaborative approach, delivering safely on time, within budget, quality of finish and defect free.
•Ensure safe working practice at all times and compliance with all current legislation.
•Ensure the most effective use of the resources at our disposal, including labour, plant, sub-contractors and materials. Ensure that the procurement schedule is produced and aligned to the construction programme.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
•Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of construction procedures
•MCIOB and degree qualified in a related subject
•Up to date knowledge of building legislation and Health and Safety legislation
•Commercial and contractual awareness
