Job Summary

Own sourcing and contract management for Starlink’s capital equipment and construction needs. Develop procurement strategies, run market analysis, negotiate contract documents with Legal, and manage vendor performance. Track spend and budget risk, present cost and value proposals, and lead cost reduction initiatives and RFPs. Use quantitative business analysis and KPI monitoring to improve outcomes across equipment and services, supporting construction and facilities organizations.

•Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process to support successful project execution.
•Develop and execute equipment and services procurement strategies focused on construction projects.
•Perform market analysis to determine should-costs and secure best purchasing deals for equipment and services.
•Create and negotiate contract documents with the legal department, including supporting RFPs.
•Manage vendor relationships, track and report projected/actual spend, assess budgetary risk, and drive cost reduction initiatives and KPI monitoring.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in areas such as engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, operations/supply chain management, master production scheduling, or construction/facilities/industrial plant management.
•OR 9+ years of experience in one or more of the areas listed in the Basic Qualifications in lieu of a degree.
•Experience managing procurement and contracting activities, including contract negotiation and document management.
•Experience supporting construction and/or facilities-related procurement for equipment and services.
•Strong quantitative and cost analytical skills for budget tracking and spend reporting.
