Key Responsibilities

•Join our JavaScript SDK team and build the future, focusing on server-side and edge runtimes to empower millions of developers across different runtimes
•Drive end-to-end ownership from planning to shipping, including writing tests and documenting features for customers and team
•Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and solve complex problems while delivering high-value features
•Engage with open-source communities and represent Sentry in interoperability efforts with groups like TC39 and OpenTelemetry
•Collaborate with Customer Operations and the user community through GitHub and conferences to squash critical bugs and gather feedback

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,000 - 280,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, web developer, or a similar role
•Deep expertise in developing web applications, libraries, or SDKs using TypeScript/JavaScript
•Hands-on experience with Node.js and modern server runtimes such as Bun, Deno, or Cloudflare Workers, with understanding of module systems, APIs, performance, and deployment models
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
•Based in San Francisco (Bay Area) or willing to relocate to this tech hub
