Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team of Area Leads across multiple locations to drive strategic direction and operational excellence, ensuring targets for quality, compliance, speed and cost are met
•Set and execute strategic objectives for KYC operations, aligning with Wise Servicing Strategy and ensuring scalable, compliant onboarding
•Develop and maintain robust onboarding programs, metrics, governance, and risk controls while optimizing third-party services and outsourced vendors
•Collaborate with Risk and Compliance to align on risk appetites and capabilities to support business growth
•Build a people strategy, manage budgets, and set KPIs for 150+ employees across regional teams

Pay and Benefits

Salary: INR 3,950,000 - 5,500,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in Operations, preferably KYC/AML, financial crime, compliance, or related fields within financial services
•8+ years of leadership experience in managing large teams with a track record of high performance
•Exceptional English communication (verbal and written); additional languages advantageous
•In-depth regulatory knowledge of KYC/AML and evolving frameworks
•Proficiency with advanced analytics tools (Looker, Superset or equivalent) to drive data‑driven decisions
