Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-level electrical engineering support for due diligence, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, and design/development/construction of energy infrastructure projects.
  • •Develop, review, and coordinate electrical infrastructure design plans for substations and related systems, including one-line/three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, bus/substation layout, grounding grid, and lightning protection.
  • •Perform and review electrical calculations (loads, equipment sizing, grounding potentials, short circuit studies, protective device coordination, protective relaying, and switchyard layouts).
  • •Prepare plans/specifications/cost estimates and oversee phasing and construction safety planning, coordinating with owners, other disciplines, and sub-consultants.
  • •Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams and project execution from inception to completion, including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, permit applications, compliance documentation, and technical/regulatory reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •7–10 years of experience as an electrical engineer delivering design work for power generation, transmission, and distribution capital projects.
  • •Engineer license required.
  • •Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices, including design/build, permitting, and project work-related issues.
  • •Strong knowledge of infrastructure design, codes/regulations/compliance, and technical calculations for electrical systems and substations.
