Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with business partners and mentors to define project goals, business needs, and available data sources.
  • •Prepare data through attribute selection, exploratory data analysis (EDA), data transformation, and work with temporal data structures.
  • •Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • •Apply statistical techniques, including hypothesis testing and model development/validation, and use text mining and quantitative methods.
  • •Present findings and recommendations to peers and business leaders as part of a capstone presentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or PhD) in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • •Expected graduation date between December 2027 and Spring 2028 for Master’s students, or concurrently enrolled in a PhD program.
  • •Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • •Education in statistical theory and experience working with raw and prepared datasets (cleaning and processing).
  • •Proficiency with statistical or machine learning tools/languages including SQL, Python, Pandas, and Jupyter Notebooks, plus experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
