Job Summary

Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations at the Dalton Plant Warehouse/Distribution Center. Verify orders against picking tickets, stage and prepare shipments (including documentation and bills of lading), bill shipments in the SBT system, and follow EDI procedures. Receive and inspect materials and stock transfers, label and store inventory, and handle bulk materials with QC checks. Maintain housekeeping, safety, and hazardous materials security compliance.

•Ship customer orders and stock transfers by verifying, picking, inspecting, staging, coding, and preparing required documentation and bills of lading.
•Verify customer order and due dates before shipping and generate picking tickets and shipping documentation packages.
•Receive, inspect, document, code, label, and store materials, supplies, and stock transfers per receiving procedures.
•Handle shipment/billing and backorder requirements in the SBT system and follow EDI procedures for applicable orders.
•Maintain clean, safe work areas and enforce safety and hazardous materials security compliance while following housekeeping standards.
