Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily field inspections and maintain inspection records for landscape work.
  • •Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements.
  • •Conduct plant identification/classification and grades/standards using the FDACS nursery plants manual.
  • •Perform soil analysis and recommend soil amendments to support optimal plant growth.
  • •Prepare detailed landscape inspection reports (including photographic documentation) and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Salary: USD 29 - 35 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma plus 4 years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to regularly drive to project sites.
  • •Ability to read and interpret contract documents.
  • •Knowledge of Florida Department of Transportation methods for landscape and irrigation installation (preferred).
