Job Summary

Build backend systems for user onboarding and KYC across Coinbase products and markets. Own Golang services that drive onboarding conversion at global scale and help enable rapid expansion into new countries. •Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and senior leadership to convert product and technical vision into quarterly execution roadmaps.
•Lead cross-cutting design reviews to ensure security, operational integrity, and architectural clarity across shipped features.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of professional software engineering experience building, scaling, and maintaining production backend services in a service-oriented architecture.
•Proven experience designing distributed systems that operate reliably at scale, including cloud-native tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP.
•Proficiency in Golang (or a similar statically-typed language) and the ability to write well-tested, production-grade code.
•Experience owning end-to-end delivery of platform capabilities from technical design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
•Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
