Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain a safe work area and follow company safety policies and procedures.
  • •Support product development by operating commercial HVAC equipment, controlling test facilities, and collecting/reviewing experimental test data.
  • •Independently install, modify, and build developmental commercial HVAC equipment and components based on engineering, agency, and test requirements.
  • •Work with Test Engineering and other technicians to install and use laboratory test equipment, including data acquisition, power analyzers, flow equipment, and measurement devices.
  • •Independently troubleshoot and repair HVAC compressors and compressor test facilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s Degree in HVAC (or related technical discipline) plus 5+ years of relevant HVAC or compressor experience, or 7+ years of relevant HVAC/compressor experience.
  • •EPA Type Universal Certification or willingness to become certified.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • •Ability to safely maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
