Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead greenfield enterprise architecture for unifying internal business systems connections, scalability, and evolution—producing ERDs, system context diagrams, data flow maps, and sequence diagrams.
  • •Define master data models and an API-first, increasingly event-driven integration layer, including reusable patterns, error-handling frameworks, and self-healing workflows.
  • •Evaluate current platform limitations and drive integration debt discovery with a prioritized roadmap for optimizing, re-platforming, or building custom integration layers.
  • •Act as primary technical evaluator for software procurement, vetting vendors on API robustness, data model flexibility, and security compliance.
  • •Establish enterprise governance and “Rules of the Road” for documentation, sandbox management, naming conventions, and change control; collaborate with InfoSec/Identity for standards alignment.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated greenfield architecture experience (e.g., producing ERDs, context diagrams, and data flow documentation) you personally produced.
  • •10–15+ years in enterprise systems or solutions architecture, including at least 5+ years as a solution architect or lead systems engineer.
  • •Deep familiarity with core platform domains such as ERP/Finance (Oracle Fusion Cloud, Coupa, Sage Intacct) or Construction/Ops (Procore, Oracle Primavera).
  • •Advanced SQL proficiency and fluency with web services (REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, Postman).
  • •Experience operating as a senior technical resource without formal authority, advising peers and running design reviews.
