Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage procurement of indirect materials, equipment, and services (e.g., MRO, facilities services, tooling, professional services, IT hardware/software, calibration, safety equipment).
  • •Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, scope statements, and service-level expectations prior to procurement.
  • •Evaluate supplier capabilities, solicit and analyze competitive quotes, and execute sourcing decisions aligned to commodity strategies.
  • •Monitor supplier performance for on-time delivery and service quality; escalate and mitigate risks proactively.
  • •Maintain ERP data for suppliers, pricing, lead times, and order status; support invoice and payment processes with the global financial services team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of supply chain experience in manufacturing OR Associates degree with 3 years OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years.
  • •Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • •Must currently reside within 50 miles of Eaton’s Orchard Park, NY facility.
  • •Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
  • •Experience with kanban systems and vendor managed inventory suppliers is preferred.
