Job Summary

Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program to become a Retail Personal Banker I, rotating through operations and Sales & Service. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive appointments via CAMP and marketing tools. Cross-sell, support outside sales and community events, partner with business teams, and process teller transactions while maintaining strong risk, ethics, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Refer customers to assigned business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and process teller transactions while meeting goals.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Ability to comfortably perform sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
