Key Requirements

  • •Professional experience with search or vector databases, including using algorithms and libraries such as HNSW or IVF on search platforms at scale.
  • •Strong core Java skills, including data structures, concurrency constructs, and modern Java features like lambdas.
  • •Experience building search features end-to-end, owning projects from technical design through delivery while collaborating with other engineers.
  • •Comfort working with globally distributed teams and providing/receiving feedback on code, approaches, and APIs.
  • •Experience with data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
