Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and test features that enhance GPU support in communication libraries, middleware, and frameworks.
  • •Deliver benchmarks and profiling results, optimizing code to maximize performance of multi-node GPU applications.
  • •Deliver high-quality code and documentation following best practices for open-source software development.
  • •Work with key technical experts at customers, across AMD, and with industry partners to advance scale-out and scale-up software and hardware solutions.
  • •Contribute to building the fastest GEMM and Tensor operations for leading AI models.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 115,500 - 198,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Strong background developing system software in C/C++.
  • •Experience with networking and storage and/or communication middleware like MPI/SHMEM.
  • •Experience with lower-level communication frameworks like UCX and libfabric, or development using RDMA APIs.
  • •Familiarity with GPU programming in HIP or CUDA, and with communication collective algorithms (e.g., AllReduce).
  • •B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (M.Sc./M.Eng./Ph.D. preferred).
