Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate business challenges into robust, scalable data products and machine learning models, including SQL feature engineering and deploying baseline models quickly.
  • •Own the full model lifecycle from data extraction and feature engineering through deployment, A/B testing, and performance monitoring.
  • •Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Finance to define technical requirements and turn model outputs into actionable insights.
  • •Write clean, modular, production-ready code, participate in peer code reviews, and help set technical best practices for the data team.
  • •Mentor junior data scientists and analysts and break down ambiguous technical domains into executable milestones.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of applied experience in data science or ML engineering delivering production-ready models with measurable business value.
  • •Strong expertise in Python and SQL, including the Python data stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, XGBoost, or LightGBM.
  • •Experience building production systems, including cloud environments (AWS or GCP), CI/CD workflows, Git, and MLOps principles.
  • •Ability to connect technical metrics to business outcomes and choose appropriate algorithms for each problem.
  • •BS/MS (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, economics, computer science, or applied math.
