Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and mentor a team of engineers and specialists focused on hardware reliability and field performance for the Starlink User Terminal Kit.
  • •Allocate resources across product qualification, production reliability priorities, and field hardware investigations to enable timely troubleshooting.
  • •Develop and execute reliability qualification strategies and design/execution of reliability testing across environmental, mechanical, electrical, RF, and system levels.
  • •Automate reliability test execution and reporting; define and monitor reliability testing/monitoring strategies and key field metrics (e.g., return rates).
  • •Oversee production quality activities and lead root-cause investigations for qualification, production, and field failures, driving corrective actions and ISO 9001 compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline such as electrical, mechanical, materials, manufacturing, aerospace, or a related field.
  • •2+ years executing complex engineering projects in design qualification, manufacturing, hardware reliability, reliability testing, or a production environment.
  • •1+ years in a leadership position leading a team of 3+ engineers.
  • •Experience developing product qualification or hardware reliability strategies.
  • •Working experience in AS9100, ISO 9001, or an equivalent quality management system.
