Job Summary

Operate heavy equipment to safely load, offload, and transport landscaping supplies such as mulch, topsoil, soil amendments, and raw materials. Perform equipment cleaning and scheduled maintenance, report maintenance/repair needs to branch leadership, and support receiving, inventory, and order processing/fulfillment. Maintain situational awareness to minimize risk of injury or property damage, and keep daily equipment checklists and logs.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate assigned heavy equipment (e.g., front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, wheel loaders, excavators) safely and proficiently per company policies.
•Load, offload, and transport landscaping supplies such as mulch, topsoil, soil amendments, and raw materials.
•Clean and maintain equipment as scheduled and/or required.
•Advise branch leadership of equipment maintenance and/or repair requirements.
•Assist with other assigned duties, including receiving materials, inventory, order processing/fulfillment, and general labor tasks.

Key Requirements

•Experience operating equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire wheel loaders, and/or excavators.

•Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds or more.
•Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.).
•Ability to read and write to record daily logs and maintain daily equipment checklists.
